This program consists of volunteering and taking Spanish lessons at the same time. Your program will consist of four hours of Spanish lessons, and four hours of volunteer work every day.
You will be volunteering at Centro de Esperanza Infantil: oaxacastreetchildrengrassroots.org, an organization that helps children who live in extreme poverty in Oaxaca.
The organization has more than 30 years and it is very well known. At the Center, they provide nutritious meals, medical care, computers to do their homework, and all support necessary to prepare and assist these children as they enter public school. There are already 670 kids enrolled in this program. They have all different ages from kindergarten to University.
Regular Volunteer Program: Three hours of volunteering and three hours of Spanish lessons.
Intensive Volunteer Program: Three hours of volunteering and four hours of Spanish lessons.
You can also stay with a host family while taking these programs.
10% of your payment will go to the organization as your donation.
